Mark Jones (rugby player born 1979)

Mark Anthony Jones ( born November 7, 1979 in Builth Wells ) is a former Welsh rugby union player who has been employed on the position of the outer three- quarter. He was active for the Welsh rugby union team and the Scarlets.

Career

Jones played in all youth teams and was already as a teenager at the best outdoor three-quarters of the country. His debut for the senior team, he gave in 2001 against England in the Six Nations. He soon became the regular players and also belonged to the squad for the World Cup 2003. Its use against England in the quarter- final was for nearly three years his last for Wales since threw him back numerous injuries over again.

Jones returned in the Six Nations in 2006, again against England. Since then he has remained largely spared from injury and therefore was a regular player of the national team. He also participated at the 2007 World Cup, already retired at the Wales in the first round. He celebrated his biggest success then at the Six Nations in 2008, when the national team was able to win the Grand Slam.

In August 2010, Jones said injured his resignation.
