Mark Jordon

Mark Jordon ( born January 25, 1965 in Oldham, Lancashire ) is a British actor. He is best known for his role as Phil Bellamy in the soap opera heartbeat.

Life

Mark Jordan was born in January 1965 in Oldham in the British county of Lancashire. His breakthrough came in the role of Phil Bellamy in the British soap opera Heartbeat, which he held from 1992 to 2007. A documentary named Heartbeat - Farewell Phil of his time on the show was broadcast at Christmas 2007 on ITV.

His debut as a director, he was with the short film To The Sea Again, which was played at many festivals and came into the final round of the Angel Film Festival in London and the Moondance International Film Festival in Hollywood. In 2009 he had a small role in the series Casualty. He had a brief cameo with a non-speaking role in Telstar.

He is married since 1997 to actress Siobhan Finneran, with whom he has two children.
