Mark Lindquist
Mark Lindquist ( born 1959 in Seattle ) is an American author and attorney.
Life
Mark Lindquist grew up in Seattle, graduated from the University of Southern California and then worked for numerous newspapers, as well as a screenwriter for several Hollywood studios. From this period, the 80s and early 90s, come his first two books, Sad Movies ( 1987) and Carnival Desires (1990).
1991 when Mark Lindquist back to Seattle and began studying law. Since 1995 he has worked as a prosecutor in Seattle. His third album, Nerve Ermind Nirvana appeared in 2000. The fourth book, The King of Methlehem was published in 2007.

Mark Lindquist formed together with Jay McInerney A strong finish ( Bright lights, big city) (1984) and Bret Easton Ellis Less Than Zero ( Less than zero ) ( 1985) the so-called literary Brat Pack. Typical of Lindquist are the autobiographical traits in his books. So Sad Movies is about a copywriter for a film company who is looking in Los Angeles 80 years after the meaning of life. Mark Lindquist was working at the time for many Hollywood studios. And his second album from 1990, Carnival Desires, tells of the superficiality and hypocrisy of Hollywood.
After Lindquist in Seattle studied law and worked as a prosecutor, he published his third book, nerve Ermind Nirvana ( 2000). Here, he tells the story of a lawyer who pursues his work in Seattle. Mark Lindquist is now working as a prosecutor and work as chief prosecutor of the drug Dezernats in Pierce County, Washington, where he is primarily responsible in the fight against drug laboratories. In his fourth album, The King of Methlehem ( German: crystal dust), Lindquist writes again with autobiographical down the hunting of drug Dezernats in Pierce County on drug labs where methamphetamine can be produced. In Germany Nevermind Nirvana appeared as the first work in 2003 in the German publishing Publishing (now Seeliger Verlag, Wolfenbüttel ), 2005 followed Sad Movies and Carnival Desires. In June 2008, his fourth book crystal dust in the Seeliger should Verlag. This had now but to file for bankruptcy - a new release date is not yet known.
