Mark Russinovich

Mark Russinovich is an American computer expert and was co-founder of Winternals Software, before the company was acquired by Microsoft in 2006, where he has since employees.

Russinovich reached first Bachelor of Science ( B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Then the Master ( M.Sc. ) at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his doctorate in the Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University.

Mark Russinovich worked for NuMega Technologies as well as for IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center. During his time as chief programmer of Winternals he stepped out as virtually the sole developer of the Windows Sysinternals tools. In addition, he worked as an author of books about the Windows NT operating systems, as well as various contributions to the Windows IT Pro magazine. Russinovich is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP).
