Mark Waters (director)
Mark Stephen Waters (* June 30, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio ) is an American film director.
Life
His debut as a director was Mark Waters in 1997 with the dramatic comedy Who's afraid of Jackie -O. ?, For which he had also written the screenplay. In 2001, he turned head over heals with Freddie Prinze Jr. in the lead role.
He had been with the comedy Freaky Friday The greatest success - in which Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis played the leading roles A full Freaky Friday. A year later he turned again a movie with Lindsay Lohan, the comedy Girls Club - Beware snappy! . In 2005 he turned the bestseller adaptation Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.
Mark Waters is the brother of screenwriter Daniel Waters. Since 10 November 2000, he is married to actress Dina Spybey.
