Markus Hantschk

Markus Hantschk Ferdinand ( born November 9, 1977 in Dachau ) is a former German tennis player.

Life

Hantschk played from 1995 to satellite tournaments where he won his first world ranking points. In 1997, he played in six of the nine staged in Germany ATP Challenger tournaments, his best result was reaching the quarterfinals in pastures, Eisenach and Neumünster, in the latter he stood with Lars Müller castle in the doubles final. In 1999, he won his first Challenger in Magdeburg title. The following year he was twice in the final of an ATP tournament, but lost in both. His highest single listing on the tennis world ranking was No. 71 in 2000.

Hantschk was two times German champion in men's singles, in 1998 and 2002.
