Markus Hiden

Franz Markus Hiden ( born February 4, 1978 in Voitsberg ) is an Austrian former professional footballer and now to coach.

Career

Association

The West Styria began with the football game at native division side SV. About the ASK Voitsberg and DSV Leoben he found the way to SK Sturm Graz, where he was Austrian Champion in 1999 and Supercup winner. About the SV Ried went his way on to the 2001 Rapid Vienna, where in 2005 he was again champion. For the summer transfer season 2006 Hiden moved to Cyprus for AEL Limassol, end of January 2007 he signed a contract with Grazer AK. Beginning of the 2008 season, he returned to DSV Leoben. In February 2010 he went to wind down his career for FC Lankowitz and ended his career in the summer of 2010.

National

Markus Hiden completed five caps for the Austrian national football team in 2001 and 2002.

Coach

By the spring of 2010 he took over the job of the player - coach at the sub- division club FC Lankowitz, where he was but was released back in the summer of 2010, after half a year. He was instead presented on December 3, 2012 as the head coach of the ASK Koflach. He held this job from until September 2013 and then went as a Bundesliga coach for women's soccer club SK Sturm Graz / FC Stattegg.
