Markus Strömbergsson

Markus Strömbergsson ( born April 26, 1975 in Gävle) is a Swedish football referee.

Career

A native of Gavle Strömbergsson debuted in 1996 at the association level as arbitrators. In 2002 he moved to the referee on the second-rate Superettan, where he was promoted to subsequently proven and from the premiership season 2003 Allsvenskan referee.

2006 increased Strömbergsson on FIFA badge. International experience he gained in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and the UEFA Cup as well as its successor Europa League. In June 2009, he headed the first time a mandatory international match in the men's field, as he led the World Cup 2010 match between Wales and Azerbaijan within the qualification.
