Marne-la-Vallée
Marne -la- Vallée is the name of Ville nouvelle east near Paris. The community network has emerged on August 17, 1972 from the merger of 26 Communes of the departments of Seine -et -Marne, Seine- Saint- Denis and Val -de- Marne and is managed since March 24, 1987 in four sections:
- Noisy- le- Grand
- 2 Val Maubuée ( Seine- et- Marne)
- Torcy
- 3 Val de Bussy ( Seine- et- Marne)
- Bussy -Saint- Georges, Lagny -sur -Marne
- 4 Val d'Europe ( Seine- et- Marne)
- Chessy, Coupvray
For area with over a quarter of a million inhabitants ( in 1999) to 15,215 ha, the University of Marne -La- Vallée, Disneyland Resort Paris (1992 ), three shopping centers (Val d'Europe, Arcades and Bay 1 2 ), the TGV station Marne la Vallée Chessy - and a prêt -à -porter shopping village (La Vallée Village ) and a Sea Life Centre. Several administrations internationally known companies have their French headquarters here.
