Maroua Kharbouch

Maroua Kharbouch ( born September 20, 1990 in Gibraltar) is a beauty queen from Gibraltar. She was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2013 and received in the excretion Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia as People's Choice ranked among the Top 6 finalists. She was the first Miss Gibraltar was of Moroccan descent and the second Gibraltarerin, the finalist of the Miss World beauty contest.

Career

Maroua Kharbouch has brunette hair, brown eyes and is 1.73 m tall. Both her parents are from Morocco. She speaks English, Spanish and Arabic.

She works full time as a client advisor assistant. Her hobbies and interests include modeling, fitness and honorary positions.

Miss Gibraltar 2013

Seven candidates enrolled for a Schönheitswettbewert Miss Gibraltar 2013. Miss World 2013

When Miss Gibraltar 2013 Gibraltar Maroua Kharbouch represented at the Miss World contest in Bali. On September 12, 2013, it held the third rank of the People's Choice Award, so they came automatically to the final.

Kharbouch held at the award ceremony at the hands of Miss Spain Elena Ibarbia who had made it into the Top 6. This was seen as an important gesture that stand in contrast to the tense political situation between the two countries. The Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo described the image as " moving" and said the two were an example of " the reality of the symbiotic relationship between the people of Gibraltar and La Linea in Spain and the environment: friendship, respect and understanding."

Upon her return to Gibraltar on September 30, 2013 Maroua Kharbouch was welcomed by Culture Minister Steven Linares and the Mayor Anthony Lima at the airport.
