Marshall Ledbetter

Marshall Ledbetter ( born June 10, 1969; † 14 July 2003) was an American psychedelic enthusiast and activist, the unconventional protest methods preferred.

On June 14, 1991 at 4:00 clock in the morning broke Ledbetter, a student at Florida State University, the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee, barricaded himself and called the office of a senator from the police. In the conversation with this he demanded that society should wake up and people should cease to be a robot clones of each other. He called for a vegetarian 20 - inch pizza pizzeria " Gumby's " 666 donuts, a box of Japanese lager and a CNN news team. On July 14, 2003 Marshall Ledbetter committed suicide.

Influence on popular culture

Jello Biafra, one of the four people with whom Ledbetter wished to speak on June 14, 1991, produced in 2000 with his band Lard a song entitled Ballad of Marshall Ledbetter, the text of the events and impressions of Biafra, the action concerning reproduced.
