Marshawn Terrell Lynch ( born April 22, 1986 in Oakland, California) is an American professional American football player in the position of running backs. He plays for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League ( NFL).

College career

Lynch attended University of California at Berkeley, where he played for the Golden Bears College Football.

Marshawn Lynch, who as a freshman was substitute for starter JJ Arrington in 2004, ran 71 times with the ball and scored a total of 628 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition, he started 19 passes for two touchdowns and 147 yards.

2005 Arrington ended his college years and Lynch was the starter as a running back the Golden Bears. Pro career

He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round in 2007. In his first season in the NFL, he was equal to the service provider at the Bills and erlief 1,115 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught 18 passes for 184 yards. In the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 4, 2007, he ran 29 times for 153 yards with the ball and a touchdown.
