Martin Adams

Martin Adams ( born June 4, 1956 in Sutton ) is an English darts player.

Adams began in 1981 with the darts and the following year was a member of the BDO. In 1992, he started his career as Dartprofi. In January 2007 he became world champion of the BDO, he won in the final 7-6 against Phill Nixon, who was able to compensate for a 0:6 residue. 2008 and 2009 he won the Winmau World Masters.

In 2010 he won the BDO World Championship again. There he sat down against Dave Chisnall by 7:5. In 2011 he was able to defend this title by itself in the final 7-5 against Dean Winstanley, who was appointed in third place, prevailed.

His nickname is Wolfie, his music is run- Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran.
