Marvin the Martian

Marvin the Martian ( in the original English Marvin the Martian ) is a fictional character from Chuck Jones for Warner Bros. Cartoons of the movie studios.

Marvin is dwarfed, has a black, round head, which, however, except for two big eyes, no other anatomical structures are visible. He always wears a helmet, reminiscent of that of a Roman centurion, a red shirt, white gloves, a circular skirt, red pants and big tennis shoes.

Voice

His voice came out on top by Mel Blanc, later by Joe Alaskey. Marvin's very British and distinguished -sounding original voice took over in the German version of the first voice actors and dialogue author Eberhard Storeck, later Walter von Hauff.

Development

Making his first appearance - under the name Commander X-2 - Marvin had on the side of Bugs Bunny on July 24, 1948 in the film Haredevil Hare. In this story, Bugs Bunny gets a " volunteer" in a rocket flying to the moon. There is true bugs on Marvin, who is just about to blow the earth into the air, because, as he points out, it Do not block the view of the Venus.
