Mary Christy

Mary Cristy ( born July 21, 1952 in Differdange as Maria Christina Ruggeri ) is a French pop and chanson singer and later stage actress.

As a young Luxembourger she sang under the name Marie -Tina and later Marie -Christina German Schlager. She came in the early 1970s to Paris and sang as Mary Cristy then French chansons. Through the radio station Europe 1 radio, she was appointed to the post in The Hague Monaco for the Euro Vision Song Contest 1976. With the song Toi, la musique et moi she reached the third place. At the end of their record deal in the late 1970s it was primarily operates under the name Marie Ruggeri as a theater actress.
