Masahiro Hasemi

Masahiro Hasemi (Japanese长 谷 见 昌 弘, Masahiro Hasemi, born November 13, 1945 in Ōme, Tokyo Prefecture) is a Japanese racing driver.

In 1976 he played his first and also the only race in the Formula 1 World Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji Speedway. This wet race he drove from tenth position starting the fastest race lap. However, he did not reach a point for the Drivers' Championship at the end. Was won by Mario Andretti at Lotus. Hasemi, who drove for the Japanese team Kojima, the goal of reaching at least in eleventh place. Even famous drivers like Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda and Carlos Pace gave this race (the last season) due to the weather.
