Masoud Boroumand

Amir Masoud Boroumand ( born November 12, 1928 in Tehran, † March 8, 2011 ) was an Iranian football player and lawyer. He was the captain of the Iranian national team in the 1950s and contactors of the very first hit for Iran. In the 1960s, he also played three years for Lebanon.

Life

He was the third child of Mahmanzar Ghovanlou (mother) and Nasser Boroumand (father). Boroumand studied law in Beirut and a Ph.D. from Washington State University in the United States later. He spoke Persian, English, French and Arabic.
