Massih Wassey

Massih Wassey ( born June 18, 1988 in Münster ) is a German - Canadian football player.

Career

Clubs

Wassey played in the season 2005/ 06 VfL Wolfsburg for some games in the U-19 league, but switched subsequently returned to his hometown of Munster and joined the SC Prussia. Already towards the end of the season 2006/ 07 he joined the A -teenager to first stakes in the premier league team of the club before he ascended to the next season to key players. In the left side of midfield Wassey played when winning the league championship in 2008 in 31 games (7 goals) and won with his club with a 3-0 success against Fichte Bielefeld also the Westphalia Cup. National

Wassey, who was born the son of a Persian ( Afghan ) and a German in Münster After his mother from the biological father, a Canadian married, he got next to the German, and Canadian citizenship. After the former Canadian national team coach Holger Osieck Wassey had observed in the first half of the season 2009/10 several times, he was invited to the Canadian national team in early 2010. During the two- week training camp in Fort Lauderdale, there was also a friendly against Jamaica, in the Wassey played 89 minutes long.
