Mátészalka

Mátészalka [ ma ː te ː sɒlkɒ ] ( German: Salka ) is a town in Szabolcs -Szatmár -Bereg county in eastern Hungary.

Location

The second largest city of the county is located 52 km east of Nyíregyháza and 77 kilometers northeast of Debrecen. Here the state road ends 471

History

The city was first mentioned in 1216.

Personalities

The most famous " son " of the city 's movie star Tony Curtis, who was indeed born even in New York, whose parents are originating from Mátészalka. Curtis went up to his death, the hometown of his parents regularly.
