MatÃas Aguirregaray
Matías Aguirregaray Guruceaga ( born April 1, 1989 in Porto Alegre, Brazil) is an Uruguayan football player.
The Vasquito called Matías Aguirregaray is the son of former Uruguayan football player (10 caps from 1995 to 1997 ) and current coach Oscar Aguirregaray.
Association
Since 2000, he played for the youth team of Peñarol and belonged since 2008, the year of his debut in Liga La Liga, to the first team squad. He managed the only score for Peñarol in the final defeat in the Uruguayan championship in 2007/ 08 against Defensor Sporting Club. In the 2009/10 season he celebrated with the Aurinegros winning the Uruguayan championship. In October 2010 he joined on loan from Penarol to Terrassa FC, where he completed a single game. In July 2011 it was announced that he will return to his home country to the Montevideo Wanderers, where he was awarded a month later to Palermo. In the season 2011/12 he completed twelve games ( no goals ) in the Serie A and a Cup game for the Sicilians. For the season 2012/13 he moved to Transylvania to CFR Cluj. There he came in five games of the Champions League action. On January 13, 2013, Peñarol was the return to the Clausura 2013 Aguirregarays known. He signed a contract with one and a half year term. Since his return to the Montevideanern he ran until the end of season 2012/13 in seven games (two goals) and the Copa Libertadores in 14 league games (one goal ) on. At the end of the season was winning the national championship. For the season 2013/14, his move to Argentina was reported to Estudiantes de La Plata. For the Argentines, he completed up to his most recent application on October 5, 2013 eight league games ( one goal).
National
U 20
Aguirregaray played in the U-20 national team of Uruguay and celebrated there under coach Diego Aguirre on 31 July 2008 at the Torneo Ciudad de Trinidad in the match against Paraguay. Overall, it was 20 times for this selection on the court nd scored two goals. He took the U-20 part in both the U-20 Football Championship in 2009 and in South America at the U-20 World Cup Egypt 2009, where he was employed in the group matches against Ghana and Uzbekistan.
Olympic team (U 23)
After Aguirregarays name initially was part of an announced on 14 February 2012 by the national team coach Oscar Washington Tabarez provisional pre-selection list from which the nominees were to be recruited for the Uruguayan team in the Olympic football tournament of the 2012 Olympics, he was finally appointed to the final line-up and took part in the Games. In the Olympic selection, in which he made his debut on 11 June 2012, a total of four inserts are listed (no gate).
A-team
Aguirregaray debuted on 14 November 2012 against the Poles in the senior team. In early February 2013, came in the 1-3 defeat of Uruguay in the discharged in Qatar friendly match against Spain's selection to another use in the senior team. At the World Cup qualifier against Chile, which took place in Santiago on March 27, 2013, he stood for the first time in a competitive match for Celeste on the court. End of May 2013 he was then appointed to the provisional squad for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 by coach Óscar Washington Tabarez. His fourth and so far last assignment for the Celeste dated June 23, 2013, as he stood in a duel against Tahiti's selection in the starting lineup.
