Mato Neretljak

Mato Neretljak ( born June 3, 1979 in Orašje, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian football player.

Career

From his home club HNK Orašje he joined in the summer of 2000 as a defender in the first Croatian league to NK Osijek. From 2002 to January 2006, he played for Hajduk Split and was there twice Croatian champion (2004 and 2005), once a runner-up (2003) and Cup Winners' Cup once ( 2003).

In early 2006, he moved to South Korea to Suwon Samsung Bluewings, where he was runner-up in 2006 and champion in 2008. Between 2009 and 2010 he played in Japan for Omiya Ardija, 2011, he returned to the Suwon Bluewings. Since January 2012, Neretljak again plays for Hajduk Split.

For the Croatian national team, he made ​​his debut on 25 April 2001 against Greece. In a total of ten A- international matches, he scored one goal ( against Germany on 18 February 2004 ) and was a participant at the EURO 2004 in Portugal.
