Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)
Camomile (Matricaria ) are a genus of flowering plants in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae).
The botanical name comes from the Latin: matrix = uterus, as the Chamomile has been used as an ancient remedy for female diseases.
Description
There are herbaceous plants. In the basket- shaped inflorescences, there are usually both tubes and ray florets.
