Matt Bayles

Matt Bayles (* October 19, 1972 ) is an American record producer and musician.

Life

Bayles attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, which is known for its degree programs in artistic fields. His career began in the mid 1990s as a sound engineer or recording engineer for various grunge bands like Soundgarden ( Down on the Upside ), Pearl Jam ( No Code, Yield), and The Presidents of the United States of America ( self-titled debut album). Since the late 1990s, he acts as an independent producer, especially for groups that the genre Metalcore can be attributed to coarse, but also for artists like Rocky Votolato. Bayles is one of the founding members of Minus the Bear, where he worked as a keyboardist. He left the band in January 2006, as he admitted his production work higher priority.

Bayles has with Chris Common Red Room Recording Studio in Seattle, visited the bands with which, however, he receives often to albums to produce locally. On some of the albums produced by him, he is also represented as guest musicians, mostly as a guitarist, keyboard player or pianist.
