Matthias Bruns

Matthias Bruns ( born August 19, 1957) is a former German football player.

Career

Matthias Bruns began his career at SpVgg wholesale Bülten and moved to Victoria Ölsburg later. In 1974 he went to Eintracht Braunschweig, where he played first in the A- youth and then a season in the amateurs.

For the 1976/77 season he moved to the Bundesliga squad harmony, but completed for the baccalaureate and the subsequent military service, not a league game in his first season as a professional.

First Bruns played as a striker, but was retrained by his former coach Branko Zebec the defender, since the offensive in harmony with players like Dietmar Erler, Wolfgang Frank and Danilo Popivoda was strongly occupied and Bruns could not prevail.
