Matthias Warnig

Matthias Warnig ( born July 26, 1955 in Altdöbern ) is the Managing Director of the German - Russian gas pipeline consortium ( Nord Stream AG). He was previously Chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort, an investment subsidiary of Dresdner Bank, where he worked in Russia.

In 2005 an article in the Wall Street Journal on the activities Warnigs for the Ministry of State Security appeared.

Curriculum vitae

From 1974 to 1990 worked for the Stasi warnig. He was last in the rank of captain, Deputy Head of Unit 5 of the Division XV. One of his main tasks was the "economic enlightenment, within the overall problems of the Main Intelligence ".
