Maurane
Maurane ( born November 12, 1960 in Ixelles / Elsene; actually Claudine Luypaerts ) is a Belgian chanteuse.
Life
Claudine Luypaerts was the daughter of the composer and the director of the Conservatory of Verviers, Guy- Philippe Luypaerts ( 1931-1999 ). Even as a teenager, she participated in various singing competitions. In 1979, she stepped to the side of Philippe Lafontaine in the musical Brel en mille temps, where it was eventually discovered by the French composer Pierre Barouh.
The first joint publications came on the market in 1980, but remained unsuccessful and had to Luypaerts with appearances as a street musician or as a background singer Jo Lemaire and Philippe Lafontaine stay afloat. In 1986 she succeeded with the album Danser personal breakthrough.
