Maurice Denham

William Maurice Denham ( born December 23, 1909 in Beckenham, London, † July 24, 2002 in Northwood, London ) was a British actor.

Life

Denham's acting career began in 1938 and extended to nearly sixty years. He played mainly supporting roles in films such as His greatest bluff, Rebellion, howler the Devil and The Jackal. His voice was far better known in the English speaking: for example, he spoke in 1954 at the animated film Animal Farm all animal noises and pretended to be a storyteller in the BBC radio comedy The Oldest Member.

Denham was once married, the couple had three children.
