Mauro Martini

Mauro Martini ( born May 17, 1964 in Alfonsine ) is an Italian former race car driver.

Mauro Martini began his career in 1985 in the Italian Formula 3 Championship and celebrated in 1987 on a Dallara 387 his first race win in this series. Also in 1988 he was engaged in this race series, played in the same year but also all races in the European Formula 3 Cup. In both championships Martini reached the end of the year in second place in the overall standings.

In 1989 he went into the Japanese Formula 3000 Championship, in which he remained active until 1996. In 1990, he was there in third place overall.

In 1991 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His best finish at the Sarthe he reached in 1994 with the second overall, which he imports along with Eddie Irvine and Jeff Krosnoff on a Toyota 94C -V.
