Max and Ruby

Max and Ruby is a US-amerikanisch/kanadische animated series of the transmitter Nick Jr. and Treehouse TV. The series is based on the children's books series Max and Ruby the author Rosemary Wells and is mainly aimed at preschoolers.

Content

The series is about the adventures of a restless and determined three-year bunnies Max and his seven year old, quiet and determined sister Ruby. Often this involves conflicts between siblings and how they solve them. The consequences consist of three stories. Besides the two, both the grandmother of the siblings, the neighbor boy, Roger, and Ruby's friends Louise and Valerie regular performances.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 2002 and 2003 under the direction of Jamie Whitney and Steven Boeckler by 9 Story Entertainment, Nelvana and Silver Lining Productions. The music was composed by Geoff Bennett.

The first broadcast took place from October 21, 2003 at Nick Jr. in the United States and Treehouse TV in Canada, a total of four squadrons were sent. The German premiere took place at the Disney Channel from 3 November 2003. Since its launch of the German branch of Nickelodeon, the mission of the program window Nick Jr. and also the pay-TV will be shown on Nick Junior. In England and Ireland the series is presented on the offshoots Nick Jr. UK and Nick Jr. 2. In Finland, the series airs on the transmitter Subtv in Sweden on channel 5 and in France on Nickelodeon France. In addition, several DVDs have appeared in America series.
