Max Buskohl

Empty Trash was a four-piece German rock band. It was founded in November 2005 in Berlin. A wide audience was the band after attending their singer Max Buskohl on the fourth season of the talent show Germany seeks the superstar known (DSDS ), which aired from January to May 2007 at the evening program of the private television channel RTL.

Band History

The band was founded in November 2005 by Max Buskohl and by blood. Some time later, still Stefan Kull and Julius Murke joined the band. In summer 2006, they reached the first place in the local Emergenza finals in Berlin. In the fall she earned herself the Germany finals of the Global Battle of the Bands in second place. In 2007 took part in the Emergenza Empty Trash again, but rose in May from the competition. Famous, purchases for the occasion by Buskohl saying was "giving up is holding me in the blood ."

In early 2007 took singer Max Buskohl in RTL casting show Germany seeks the superstar part. There he was chosen by audience voting at the last three participants of the event, but rose voluntarily from the competition in order, in his own words, further to be able to play with his band.

In the summer of 2007, guitarist and singer Tim mayor joined the band and they signed a recording contract with the record company EMI. After the band had taken lodgings in September 2007 in the Gaga Studios in Hamburg, was published on 9 November 2007, the debut single, Limited, with the band managed the leap into the German charts. On 23 November 2007 the first album was released under the title Confession. It was produced by Patrik Berger and Carl Carlton, the father Buskohls.

As blood announced on 19 November 2007 at his departure from the band. New drummer was Jörn Black Burger. In November and December 2007, the band went with the songs from their album Confession on tour in Germany. End of February 2008 Stefan Kull decided to leave the band. He was replaced by Philipp Stüber. On 14 March 2008 the single Garden of Growing Hearts appeared. This song is also the title song to the movie Shaft. On 21 April 2008 Tim mayor announced the phasing out of the band.

On 2 May 2008, the new radio drama series Team X -Treme, on the Max Buskohl sings the theme song appeared. In the summer of 2009 Max Buskohl was next world stars such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr or Yusuf Islam guest star on the album Voormann & Friends: A Sideman 's Journey by Klaus Voormann.

On your MySpace page, the band announced their separation in December 2009. The farewell concert was held in Berlin on 12 February 2010.
