Maximum card

A Maximum Card is a picture postcard with an image-side stamp the same image motif and a matching possible postmark, usually as a special. Aim is to achieve maximum motivlicher, spatial and temporal coincidence of the three elements postcard, stamp and postmark. This special collection area is referred to as Maximaphily. In this collection area there is an overlap of subject Philately (stamps, postmark ) and Philokartie ( postcards). Some collectors of them are eager to get a card with matching special as possible from the date of issue of the stamp.

If postcard, stamp and postmark are not consistent, then it is simply a " TCV Card" (Timbre sur côté vue = brand image side ). Maximum cards are therefore a special form of " TCV Cards".
