Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade is a company incorporated in 2005, American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida.

Band History

With an undecided name, the band went into the studio and recorded their first EP Tales Told by Dead Friends with producer Lee Dyess on. During this time they decided on the name Mayday Parade. First, the band went with Brandston and Mêlée on U.S. tour. Shortly after the release of the EP they went on tour with the Plain White T's. In January 2007 the band started the recording of their first studio album A Lesson in Romantics, which was published on 10 July 2007. Shortly after the album was completed, Jason Lancaster left the band for personal reasons. He currently plays in the band Go Radio. Mayday Parade performed at the Vans Warped Tour in 2007 and appeared in April 2008 for the first time in the UK on the Give it a Name festival in Sheffield and London. The band played again in 2008 on the Vans Warped Tour and toured with All Time Low, The Maine, and Every Avenue by the United States. 2009 the band released their first album - Anywhere But Here - without Jason Lancaster. On 8 March 2011 a new EP followed by the name of Valdosta. Later that year released their new album, which bears the same name as the band.
