Mazamitla is a town in the Mexican state of Jalisco and famous as Pueblo Mágico for its pine forests and wood crafts. Mazamitla situated on 2234 meters in the forests of Mexico and means something like " place where one hunts with a bow and arrow for deer ." The village, it is the biggest town of the homonymous municipality and the county seat, has 7865 inhabitants ( census 2010).
