McCormick Tractors

McCormick Tractors International Limited is an English manufacturer of tractors. The company was founded in 2001 by the ARGO Group refers to the tradition of the McCormick brand and the indirect predecessor companies McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and International Harvester.

History

The McCormick brand was founded in 1856 from the company McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, which rose in 1902 in the successor company International Harvester, which also continued the brand. After harvesting International sold the agricultural sector 1985 to the Case- division of Tenneco, the McCormick brand was discontinued. The plant in Doncaster was closed in late 2007. McCormick tractors have since been produced by ARGO in Italy.
