Medical Investigation

Medical Investigation is an American television series by NBC, which is seen also in the German-speaking world since 10 January 2006.

While the program achieved in Germany on ProSieben good ratings, it was canceled in the U.S. after only 20 episodes due to low rates.

Action

The series is about the cases of special medical unit of the National Institutes of Health. The team led by Dr. Stephen Connor fights against life-threatening epidemics and examines the circumstances of mysterious diseases. Besides her work in hospitals and laboratories in this case takes the cause of research in the foreground. Much of the tension refers to the series of the difficult diagnosis; in this regard, Medical Investigation has parallels to the series House MD.

Clark Mathis was nominated in 2005 as part of the ASC Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography. Erica Mer received a nomination for the Young Artist Award in the category Best Performance in a Television Series - Guest Starring Young Actress.
