Meghri
Meghri (Armenian Մեղրի, in scientific transliteration Mełri, [ mɛʀ'ɹi ] ) is a city in Armenia. It is located in the Syunik province, near the border with Iran.
Meghri has 5034 (2009) inhabitants. The climate is warm and dry ( semihumides climate). The city is important for trade between Iran and Armenia, through it runs which opened in March 2007 Iran - Armenia gas pipeline.
