Mehdi Naderi

Mehdi Naderi (Persian مهدی نادری; born 17 April 1973 in Tehran ) is an Iranian filmmaker. In 1988, he started his career with directing at his school theater. Later he joined the industry and went to the movie, where he has created several documentaries and short films. Mehdi Naderi is also writer, consultant, editor and producer. His first feature film Farewell Baghdad (2010) was proposed by Iran for the Academy Awards in 2001 as Best Foreign Language Film.
