Mehmet Ali Birand

Mehmet Ali Birand ( born December 9, 1941 in Istanbul, † 17 January 2013) was a Turkish journalist.

In 1964 he wrote for the daily newspaper Milliyet. From 1992 he worked as a news anchor and talk-show host for TRT, Show TV, CNN Türk and Kanal D also on television.

He died of cancer.
