Meinhard VI of Gorizia

Meinhard VI. of Gorizia († after May 6, 1385 ) was a Count of Gorizia and the prince of the empire which Meinhardiner dynasty came.

Life

His parents were Count Albert II of Gorizia and Euphemia of Mätsch. In 1338, he joined together with his two brothers Albert III. and Henry V., the successor of John Henry IV of Gorizia in the County of Gorizia on. From 1365 he reigned alone. Meinhard was completely at odds with his two brothers and was therefore in 1363 his claim to the county of Tyrol prevail not.   • Ursula Schoeneck, Neuhaus and Uttenstein, married to Count Henry III. of Schaubergwerk ( -1390 )

  • Johann Meinhard VII, Count Palatine of Carinthia, Count of Kirchberg ( -1430 ), married to Magdalena, daughter of the Bavarian duke Frederick the Wise, and afterwards with Agnes of Ptuj.
