Melinho

Melinho ( born March 26, 1980 in Santa Bárbara d' Oeste, actually: Rogério Pereira Tarciso ) is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

Melinho played in youth with União Barbarense in his hometown of Santa Bárbara d' Oeste. At 18, he tried for the first time in Europe, his trip to the Spanish Villarreal but was already stopped again after half a year. He came back home and played only for Guarani FC in which is located near his birthplace million city of Campinas, before he rejoined Barbarense. 2002/ 03 he tried then in Greece, the Athens club Akratitos Ano Liosia, but the commitment did not last more than one season out.

After six months without a club, he was a half of the Brazilian second division club Portuguesa from the city of São Paulo, for half a year at the Czech first division SFC Opava and again half a year back at União Barbarense.

In the 13 games for Opava Melinho who plays as an attacking central midfield, had also established a reputation in the Czech Republic and was taken from the 2005/06 season of SK Sigma Olomouc under contract. There he was able to establish long-term in the Gambrinus League as a regular player. Four consecutive years he spent in Olomouc / Olomouc, then expressed in 2009 the German second division side TuS Koblenz interest in several players of the Czechs. Finally, the Brazilian was loaned along with his Czech team-mate Martin Hudec for the 2009/10 season at the Koblenz " Schängel ".

In the 2nd Bundesliga Melinho from the beginning was a regular player on the central coordinating point in the midfield, but after its good initial shape subsided and TuS Koblenz found himself in a relegation battle in the middle, he lost his place and was not used in the second round.

For the 2010/2011 season he returns to Sigma Olomouc. The TuS Koblenz decided not to bind Melinho to the association. There his contract was terminated in September.

In January 2011, he signed a contract with the Slovak first division DAC Dunajská Streda until the end of the season 2011/12. He came to six inserts and scored a goal. His contract was not renewed in the summer.

After six months without a club membership, he returned to his hometown club União Barbarense and playing with the club in the Campeonato Paulista Serie A -2.
