The Memphis International Airport (Memphis International Airport ) is located in the U.S. state of Tennessee, about ten kilometers from the center of the city of Memphis; the IATA code is MEM. Memphis International was founded on June 15, 1929 Memphis Municipal Airport, the first airlines were American Airlines and Chicago & Southern Airlines. Today, Memphis International to Minneapolis -St. Paul and Detroit, the third most important hub of Northwest Airlines, moreover, it is the hub of FedEx. This fact makes the Memphis International Airport as the second largest cargo airport in the world. Despite its function as a hub of Northwest Airlines there since 3 September 2012 with the setting served by KLM connection to Amsterdam, not a single destination in Europe more. Since this is seasonal Delta operated Cancún the only international achievable from Memphis passenger destination.
