From the first round to the quarter-finals teams play in the knockout system. In each round, there are return games. The losers of the first round play in the Challenge Cup on. The four winners of the quarter-final play along with the group Third from the Champions League a "Challenge Round". The winner of this round will qualify for the Final Four.
