Men's Qatar Classic 2013

The Qatar Classic 2013 took place from 8 to 15 November 2013, Doha, Qatar instead. The Squash Tournament of men was part of the PSA World Tour in 2013 and belonged to the category World Series Platinum.

Titleholder of the final staging in 2011 was Grégory Gaultier, who retired this year in the quarterfinals. The tournament was won by the set of five Egyptian Mohamed El Shorbagy position, who won in five sets with 11:5, 5:11, 11:6, 6:11 and 11:4 against the reigning world champion Nick Matthew. For El Shorbagy it was the first title in a tournament of the World Series.

The field of the Lord competition consisted of 32 players, eight grid positions for qualifiers. Per wildcard Mohd Abdulla Al Tamimi received a starting spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

In the tournament the following prize money and world ranking points were paid or credited for each round is reached. Players who entered from qualifying into the main draw, the qualifying points were given in addition to those for the respective round is reached. Otherwise, the amounts are not cumulative. The total prize money was U.S. $ 150,000.
