Menasheh Idafar

Menasheh Idafar (* 13 March 1991 in London) is a British- Bahraini racers.

Career

Idafar grew up in Bahrain and began his motorsport career in 2005 in karting, where he was active until 2007. Besides, he already gave his Formula racing debut in 2006 in the Thunder Arabia Middle Eastern Series. He finished the season in fifth place. In 2007 he returned to the United Kingdom and competed in the Formula Renault BARC. After he had remained in the regular championship without points, he finished fifth in the Winter Championship. In 2008, he improved in the BARC Formula Renault with five podium finishes in fourth place. He then competed in the Winter Championship British Formula Renault and was twelfth. In 2009 he moved to the British Formula Renault and was 24th in the overall standings. In the ensuing Winter Championship he finished third.

2010 joined Idafar for T-Sport in the British Formula 3 Championship. He won the title of national class. His best result was a third place at the season finale. 2011 remained at Idafar T-Sport in the British Formula 3 Championship and competed in the international ranking. He entered this season with a Bahraini racing license, previously he used a British. With a second place as best result he finished the season in 14th place from the drivers' standings.
