Mercedes Cabrera
Mercedes Cabrera ( born December 3, 1953 in Madrid) is a Spanish politician of the PSOE.
Life
Cabrera studied Political Science and Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1996 she has worked as a high school teacher focusing on the history of politics theories at this university. Since 2004 she has been a Member of the Spanish Congress ( Cortes Generales ). From 2006 to 2009 she was Minister of Education in the Cabinet and the Cabinet Zapatero Zapatero I II Cabrera is married to Carlos Arenillas and has two children.
