Meron ( Hebrew: מֵירוֹן ) is a settlement in the Galilee in northern Israel near Safed.

Today's settlement was founded in 1949 after the end of the war of Palestine from Hungary and Czechoslovakia originating Israeli soldiers at the site of the depopulated by war historical Meron. It is known for its vineyards in over 600m.
