Mert ErdoÄŸan

Mert Erdogan ( born March 1, 1989 in Ereğli ) is a Turkish footballer who plays for 1461 Trabzon.

Career

Club career

Mert Erdogan began with the club football in the youth of MKE Ankaragucu. In the summer of 2004 he was awarded a professional contract, but continued to play for the reserve team. Only towards the end of the season 2007/ 08 he was involved in addition to its activity in the reserve also on professional training and included in the squad of the league games. So he made on April 13, 2009 in a league match against Manisaspor his pro debut. The next season he was mostly on the substitutes' bench and came up with only three competitive games.

From the 2009/10 season he played in succession each for a half season at Konyaspor, Bugsasspor, Türk Telekomspor and Denizli Belediyespor. With the latter, he managed to climb into the third highest Turkish league.

The 2011/12 season he returned to Ankaragucu. After Ankaragucu ran into financial difficulties in the first few weeks of the season and for a long time, the players' salaries could not pay, many players parted. Erdoğan was then brought into the first team squad and was favored by players deficiency almost always used as a regular player.

For the second half of the 2013/14 season Erdoğan moved to the second division in 1461 Trabzon.
