Metz-Tessy

Metz -Tessy is a commune in the French department of Haute- Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region.

Geography

Metz -Tessy is located on 461 m above sea level. M., about 5 km north- northwest of the city of Annecy (air line). The village is located on the northern edge of the basin from Annecy in the foothills of the Alps, on the southeastern foot of the heights of La Mandallaz, in Genevois.

History

The municipality of Metz -Tessy was already inhabited during the Roman period. Metz is first mentioned in the 14th century.
