Mexican Federal Highway 1

The Carretera Federal 1, also known as Carretera transpeninsular, is a 1711 km long highway on the Baja California peninsula, completed in 1973. It runs mostly two lanes of the northern border city of Tijuana in the Mexican state of Baja California (BC ) and Cabo San Lucas to the southern tip of Baja California Sur. On the U.S. side from San Ysidro in the U.S. state of California, she performs as Interstate 5 along the west coast north to Canada inside.
