MGM Grand Garden Arena

MGM Grand Garden Arena is a venue at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. The arena is designed as the Madison Square Garden in New York City and has a capacity of 16,800 spectators. It lies on the southern Las Vegas Boulevard.

Sporting events

1994 played the Las Vegas dust devils an indoor soccer season in the Continental Indoor Football League at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

In January 2011, fifteen UFC events were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena

Concerts

Elton John and Billy Joel announced on March 25, 1995, the birthday of Elton John, a concert of her "Face to Face Tour" in the Arena. In Concert Ray Cooper led by a 40 - minutiges drum solo.

Barbra Streisand opened the arena with two concerts on 31 December 1993 and 1 January 1994.

The Bee Gees gave on 14 November 1997, a concert of her " One Night Only " tour.

On the weekend of 23 24 March 2007, the Dave Matthews Band played a 266 minute concert.

Beyoncé gave a sold-out concert as part of her " Beyonce Experience Tour " in 2007.

Madonna gave eight concerts in seven years.

Cher was signed in 1999 two concerts as part of their "Do You Believe? Tour". Later VHS released the DVD "Live in Concert".

On November 18, 2001 Britney Spears was part of their Dream Within a Dream Tour, a concert that was recorded by Home Box Office and released as a DVD (Britney Spears Live from Las Vegas ).
